Hi Juli! Great question. I have a Pinterest manager doing my pinning for me – but I would add fresh pins to the most relevant keyworded board that you have. I think you’d want to wait 2-3 or so days to repin that same pin onto another personal/group board so Pinterest doesn’t see that as spammy. I hope that helps!

Which boards do you add your fresh pins (linked to same blog post) ? Can you add same pin to same personal board with intervals of everyday? Same with group boards? Or it needs to be a new board every day? Sorry, so confused! Thanks

Hi Sharron, great question. I don’t ever share the same pin to multiple boards – Instead, I use Tailwind to schedule out pins with a day in between. Each day, I pin a new pin to the most relevant boards that I have, my personal blog board, then onto group boards. I set a 1 day interval so the pin goes out 1x a day to those boards over the next 40-50 days. Hope that helps!

Hey Amanda! As far as I know, linking to the image from your media library works great for Pinterest! It’s what I do all the time and my Pinterest stats increase weekly. I like to do it this way because then I can pin everything from one place instead of jumping around from post to post. You might want to check out a plug in I recently found called Tasty Pins, it allows you to add a hidden Pinterest-specific image on your website front-end with the click of a button! Hope that helps.

Question—I know that sharing the same pin to multiple boards once a day is ‘spammy’ but does this no longer apply if you are pinning the same post with 2-3 different images/pin descriptions a day?

Is uploading my pin images into my WordPress media library and adding the destination URL any different than hiding my images in my posts? I guess what I’m asking is whether or not one method of attaching multiple pins to a post is more advantageous (or faster/ easier than the others?

I need to be doing this and when I see a method that mentions anything about adding or editing code it scares me! I had no idea there were multiple ways!

Thanks again for the post!
