Working within a brand as recognizable as Michigan State University is an exercise in balance. Every piece needs to feel unmistakably MSU, while still giving each department, program, and story room to have its own presence.
Across multiple projects for the Broad College of Business, I transformed detailed information into design that feels clear, polished, and inviting—helping important ideas get noticed, understood, and remembered.

THE DESIGN NEED
THE CREATIVE APPROACH
Making room for each story inside
one unmistakable brand.
Different departments and programs have different audiences, personalities, and stories to tell, but every piece still needs to feel connected to Michigan State University.
The goal wasn’t to reinvent the brand. It was to find fresh, thoughtful ways to work within it, using visual assets that reflect the Spartan community and support the university’s strategic plan.
